Why baby?

Why did I get pregnant? I waited 5 years to make that decision. Creating a new human being is an awesome thing that comes with a  huge responsibility. The world has enough people already so why create new beings?

1. That is a way of life - NO

2. Everybody does that - NO

3. To belong to the world of parents - NO

4. To escape the pressure of the society - definite NO

Then why did I get pregnant? Because I was confident that this baby that I deliver will be as useful to this world as his father/mother is or even more.

If we can make a journey from TamilNadu from the background that we hail, all the way to US and have kick ass careers, I want this baby to reach even more.

Get the best of both worlds from his mom and dad.

Above all, I spent 5 years admiring what an awesome human being his dad is. How helpful he is to his family, friends and his great attitude. He will definitely be a great father  and yes he is!

And as a mom, my prime responsibility is towards my baby. I have never lived for myself. Always put my family's need before. At that point I though I can put this baby's needs before and raise him to be a great citizen. Natukkey oruvaraaga nalavar uyarvaar unmai.
